Alberto Jorge Daniel Resende Costa

Alberto J. Costa, PhD, is a Coordinating Professor at University of Aveiro His research focuses on Financial and Management Accounting, Business Ethics, and Accounting Education. A Certified Accountant since 1997, he is also a long-standing member of GRUDIS – Portuguese Accounting Research Network – and has collaborated with the Certified Accountants Association (OCC) as a trainer in Ethics and Deontology.

Alexandra Fidalgo Neves

Alexandra das Neves is an invited Teacher at the University of Aveiro (Department of Education and Psychology, Portugal) and at the University of Stuttgart (Centre for Languages, Germany). She is a researcher at two research centres: CLLC (Centre for Languages, Literatures and Cultures) and CIDTFF (Didactics and Tecnology in the Education of Trainers), a teacher trainer and author in the field of Foreign Language Didactics.

Alkis Thrassou

Dr. Thrassou is a Professor at the University of Nicosia (Cyprus, EU) and holds a Ph.D. from the University of Leeds (UK). He is the Director of Gnosis Mediterranean Institute for Management Science, the Chief Editor of Palgrave Intersections of Business and the Sciences, the Managing Editor of Palgrave Studies in Cross-disciplinary Business Research, an Associate Editor of EuroMed Journal of Business, and a Senior Research Fellow of the EuroMed Academy of Business.

Ana Torres

Ana Torres, PhD, is currently an Assistant Professor at the University of Beira Interior and Director of the Master’s in Clinical and Health Psychology. A member of CINTESIS@RISE, she actively contributes to health research networks. She also serves as President of the Portuguese Academy of Psycho-Oncology (APPO) and has numerous national and international publications.

Annamaria Dentamaro

Annamaria Dentamaro is an Associate Professor in Commercial law (with National Qualification for Full Professorship) in the Department of Economics of University of Foggia where she held the role of confirmed researcher for the same disciplinary scientific sector. Holder of numerous teachings, including Commercial Law, Corporate Crisis Law and Listed Company Law, she is the author of essays and monographs on corporate law, corporate crisis law and financial market law. Delegated to internationalization of the Department, she is responsible for the editorial committee of some of the most important magazines in the sector.

Antonino Galati

Antonino Galati is a Full Professor of Agricultural and Food Economics, and Rural Appraisal at the University of Palermo (Italy). He holds a PhD in Agricultural Economic and Policy (2007) and Post specialization Diploma on “Politique et Choix Publique en Agriculture et Alimentation” at the Institute Agronomique Mediterranee de Montepplier of Montepellier (Francia). At the University of Palermo he is Professor of Strategic Management of the Agro-forestry companies, Forest appraisal, Economics and management of wine businesses. His research interests include agribusiness, marketing strategies, management, logistics and market analysis. His research has been published in a wide range of international peer-reviewed journals and conference proceedings.

Arkadiusz Weremczuk

Arkadiusz Weremczuk, PhD in economics and finance, assistant professor at the Department of Economics and Economic Policy in the Institute of Economics and Finance at the Warsaw University of Life Sciences (SGGW), and an expert for the European Commission. Specializes in financial markets, public sector economics, and the sharing economy. He has over 17 years of experience in market analysis and collaboration with financial institutions. Author of numerous scientific publications on risk management and resource-sharing models. Actively participates in conferences and research projects, analyzing the dynamic development of the sharing economy.

Beata Browarczyk

Beata Browarczyk currently holds an academic position at the University of Social and Economicsin Gdansk. She also cooperates with National Louis University and Collegium Civitas. Financial expert of the National Centre for Research and Development (NCBR), European Funds for Smart Economy (FENG) 2021-2027, economic analysis expert of the Polish Agency for Enterprise Development (PARP), the Polish National Agency for Academic Exchange (NAWA) expert.

Claudia Ribau

Cláudia P. RIBAU holds a PhD in Marketing and Strategy from the University of Aveiro, Portugal. She holds a post-graduation in Marketing from IPAM, Portugal, and a bachelor’s degree in business communications from Fernando Pessoa University, Portugal.

She developed a professional career as a Marketing (as the main activity) and Human Resources Manager in an industrial firm, in the B2B context.
Beyond her industry experience, Cláudia has a strong academic background. She is involved in research and also maintains an active career as a teacher of Marketing, Communication, Digital Marketing and International Marketing. Currently, she is a Lecturer at ISCA-Aveiro University, Portugal.

Daria Sikorska

Daria Sikorska, Associate Professor at SGGW, Centre for Climate Research is a researcher, academic teacher and science communicator at the Warsaw University of Life Sciences. A passionate advocate for interdisciplinary science, she seamlessly integrates ecological sciences, engineering and socio-economic studies in her work. Beyond her research, she actively engages in teaching, grant proposal development, and scientific writing.

Demetris Vrontis

Dr. Vrontis is the Vice Rector for Faculty and Research and a Professor of Strategic Marketing Management at the University of Nicosia, Cyprus. He is the President of the EuroMed Academy of Business and the Managing Director of Gnosis Mediterranean Institute for Management Science, the Founding Editor and Editor in Chief of the EuroMed Journal of Business, an Associate Editor of the International Marketing Review, an Associate Editor of the Journal of Business Research, a Consulting Editor of the Journal of International Management, an Associate Editor of the Journal of Strategic Marketing, a Senior Advisor of the International Studies of Management & Organization, a Senior Associate Editor of the FIIB Business Review and an editorial advisory board member in numerous academic and scientific marketing, management and business-related journals.

Elisabed Bzhalava

Elisabed Bzhalava, PhD, is an Associate Professor of Philology at Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University. Her research focuses on language, sociolinguistics, and linguo-culturology.She has held teaching and research positions through Erasmus+ and other mobility programs at universities in Spain, Turkey, Italy, Moldova, and Lithuania.

Elisabete Vieira

Elisabete holds a PhD in Management. She is a member of the Governance, Competitiveness and Public Policy Research Unit. She has several publications in books and scientific journals, several PhD supervisions, and was member of several ERASMUS projects.

Fernando Cruz Goncalves

Fernando Cruz Gonçalves is a professor in the Department of Transport and Logistics at ENIDH (Escola Superior Náutica Infante D. Henrique – Portuguese Maritime College)and specialist in Maritime-Port Economics with advanced degrees in Maritime Management, Logistics, and Administration (ENIDH, Antwerp University, IST/ISCTE). He is a Merchant Marine Officer. He consults on transport, ports, and logistics, with experience in EU-funded projects.

Helena Gervasio

Helena Gervasio holds a Master’s and Ph.D, in Civil Engineering from the University of Coimbra, where she is an Associate Professor in the Department of Civil Engineering and a member of the Institute for Sustainability and Innovation in Structural Engineering (ISISE). With over 15 years of experience, her research focuses on promoting sustainability in construction through innovative tools and methods. Her main areas of expertise include life cycle analysis, resource efficiency, decarbonization of the built environment, and energy-efficient building strategies. Helena’s involvement in scientific networks, leadership in research projects, and strong publication record make her a valuable contributor to the Cl4Bio – Creative Learning for Bioeconomy project, bringing key insights into sustainable engineering.

Joao Fonseca Bigotte

João Fonseca Bigotte, PhD, is an Assistant Professor of Innovation in Urbanism and Transportation at the University of Coimbra. He leads the Transport and Mobility Working Group for the Regional Spatial Planning Program of Portugal’s Centro Region. He has also been a visiting scholar at the University of Toronto and MIT. His research focuses on innovation in transport and spatial planning, including facility location and transport network integration, acceptance of transport innovations, and mobility-as-a-service (MaaS). 

José Luís Reis

José Luís Tavares Pires Dias dos Reis, PhD, is an Assistant Professor at the University of Maia, where he also serves as Dean of the Department of Business Administration and Coordinator of the Master’s in Digital Transformation.

He is also an Invited Adjunct Lecturer at the Polytechnic of Porto – ISCAP and an integrated member of LIACC – the Laboratory of Artificial Intelligence and Computer Science at the University of Porto.


Justyna Franc-Dąbrowska

Justyna Franc-Dąbrowska, Associate Professor, Head of the Doctoral School Warsaw University of Life Sciences – SGGW. Her research focuses on financialization, dividend policy, capital structure, and liquidity.


Luís Almeida

Luís Almeida has a PhD in Economic Analysis and Business Strategy from the Universities of Vigo, A Coruña, and Santiago de Compostela. He is an Adjunct Professor at the Higher Institute of Accounting and Administration at the University of Aveiro (ISCA-UA) and is a member of the Research Unit on Governance, Competitiveness and Public Policies (GOVCOPP).


Manuela Batista

Mª Manuela Batista, is a professor in the Department of Transport and Logistics at ENIDH (Escola Superior Náutica Infante D. Henrique – Portuguese Maritime College) and specialist in Transport Services and Environmental Port Management. She leads the MSC-ENIDH Academy focused on maritime transport training and participates in national and EU maritime-port projects.

Mariantonietta Fiore

Mariantonietta Fiore is a full professor in Agricultural economics at UNIFG (Italy). She is a Fellow of the EuroMed Academy of Business and held several positions as an Expert at Italy Ministries. M. Fiore has gained over 15 scientific awards. She is a member of the Board of Directors of AIQUAV, was one of the Directors of the IFAMA, and is currently a member of the IFAMA Europe chapter.


Marilena Labianca

Marilena Labianca, PhD in Economic and Political Geography at the University of Bari in 2009. Following research and teaching experience at the University of Salento (Lecce), she qualified as an Associate Professor in 2017. Currently, she is Researcher at the Department of Economics, University of Foggia. Her expertise spans Spatial Planning and Analysis, Rural Development, Governance and Territorial Impacts, Geographical Information Systems (GIS), Regional Analysis and Geo-Digital Models, Planning and Tourism, Renewable Energy. She is coordinator and scientific lead of the Italian research unit in international projects analyzing the territorial impacts of European rural policies.


Michał Wielechowski

Michał Wielechowski, PhD, assistant professor at the Department of Economics and Economic Policy in the Institute of Economics and Finance at the Warsaw University of Life Sciences (SGGW), expert for the Polish National Agency for Academic Exchange and the Visegrad Fund. His research interests focus on financial markets, macroeconomics, public sector economics, and public finance. Author or co-author of several dozen research articles and conference presentations, and a participant in several international research fellowships. Academic lecturer with over 15 years of experience, both in Poland and abroad.


Nina Drejerska

Nina Drejerska, PhD works as a researcher and academic teacher at the Institute of Economics and Finance, Warsaw University of Life Sciences-SGGW. Her main research interests are regional development, labour economics, bio- and circular economy. She has more than 20 years of experience in analysis and reporting on economic and business issues, 10 international projects and several national projects.


Nino Adamashvili

Dr. Nino Adamashvili holds a Ph.D. in Agricultural Economics and is currently a Professor at the University of Palermo, Italy. Her research centers on sustainability and blockchain applications in the wine and extra virgin olive oil (EVOO) supply chains. Dr. Adamashvili has played a key role in numerous international, national, and regional research initiatives, including H2020, Erasmus+, and PRIN projects. A recipient of multiple awards and scholarships, she is a frequent presenter at international conferences and has served as a session chair and member of both scientific and organizing committees. Her work is widely published in high-impact academic journals.


Nino Okrostvaridze

Nino Okrostsvaridze, PhD, is currently a Professor at the Department of Arts and Sciences, Ilia State University (Tbilisi, Georgia). Her interdisciplinary research spans Social and Cultural Anthropology, Migration and Identity Studies, and Georgian Studies, with a primary focus on the Turkish Georgian diaspora among immigrant communities in Germany and Turkey.

Nuno Moutinho, PhD, is an Assistant Professor and leads Pedagogical Innovation initiatives at the School of Economics and Management, University of Porto. He is the researcher at Digital Media, coordinating and contributing to several projects funded by the FCT and the European Union. Oksana Danylchenko-Cherniak, Ph.D., is an Associate Professor of Philology at Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv (Ukraine), specializing in Linguistics, Legal English, English for IT and professional language education. Paula Saraiva Carvalho, PhD, is currently an Assistant Professor in the Department of Psychology and Education at the University of Beira Interior, where she teaches Psychopathology and Cognitive Behavioural Intervention. She regularly supervises postgraduate students in psychology and medicine, including internships, dissertations, and theses. Her research focuses on clinical and health psychology, with current interests in mental health, prevention, and well-being among college students and adults.

She is an expert in the field of the labour market, professional activity and marketing. Piotr Sikorski

Piotr Sikorski, associate professor at Warsaw University of Life Sciences, is a researcher, academic teacher, and science populariser. He is an ecologist and landscape architect and specialises in the intersection of ecology, engineering, and social sciences. Piotr promotes ecosystem design in green areas as nature-based solutions, as an essential response to environmental changes. He is a researcher of plant communities, an expert on plant communities in many research projects, and the author and co-author of numerous inventories and natural analyses.


Raffaele Silvestri

Raffaele Silvestri is Assistant Professor of Business Innovation at the Department of Economics at the University of Foggia, Italy.
His main research interests are in technological development, innovation management and business networks.
He published in journals such as Journal of Business Research, British Food Journal, Journal of Cleaner Production, Journal of Purchasing and Supply Management.
His core area of study is the digital innovation in organizational and marketing processes, the analysis of the its impact on structure and strategy, the role of networking, the relationship management as a competitive strategy, the innovation management through the development of new resources within the network.


Raquel Meneses

Raquel Meneses, PhD, specialises in Strategy and International Marketing. Her research explores national culture, international business, business diplomacy, ambidexterity, and cooperation. With an eclectic methodological approach, she employs both qualitative and quantitative methodologies, including systematic combining, hypothesis tests, structural equation models, NCA, and fuzzy-set QCA. Currently, she is an associate professor with tenure, directs the University of Porto Marketing Master’s Course, and is a researcher at INESC TEC-LIAAD.


Roberto Leonardo Rana

Roberto Leonardo Rana is full professor at Foggia University, in the scientific area of “Commodity Science”.
Currently he teaches Corporate Environmental Responsibility, Green New Deal for PA and Environmental Education courses at the Department of Economics and the Department of Humanities, Letters, Cultural Heritage and Educational Studies, respectively.
He is also involved in collaborations with the Laboratory for Anthropogenic Resources of Vienna University of Technology and the University of Mato Grosso du Sur (Brasil).
Furthermore, he is a Coordinator of the PhD course titled Economics and finance of territorial sustainability and well-being. He took part in many international projects as scientific manager and conferences as chairman and speaker and he is the author of more than 100 international publications.


Rui Pedro Marques

Rui Pedro Marques obtained his Ph.D. in Computer Science in 2014 from the Universities of Minho, Aveiro, and Porto, Portugal. His academic credentials also include a Master’s degree completed in 2008 and a Bachelor’s degree in Electronics and Telecommunications Engineering from the University of Aveiro in 2005.
Since 2007, Marques has been a Professor at the Higher Institute of Accounting and Administration, University of Aveiro, where he teaches Information Systems courses across technical professional, bachelor’s, master’s, and doctoral programs. He also supervises master’s dissertations and Ph.D. theses.


Sandra Filipe

Sandra Filipe holds a PhD in Marketing. She is a Coordinating Professor at the Institute of Accounting and Administration of the University of Aveiro and a full researcher in the Competitiveness, Governance, and Public Policies (GOVCOPP) research unit.
As a researcher, she participated in 6 Projects: CL4BIO – Creative learning for boosting bio-economy within HEIs’ curricula; PROMENT- Promoting professional education and students engagement through comprehensive mentoring and tutoring system at HEIs; AGENDA NEXUS; CARE – Consumer Awareness for Responsibility to Environment; Fair Food for a Smart Life; + PRO – Measure, Articulate, and Value Professional Education in Portugal.


Sofia Coelho

Ana Sofia Coelho, PhD, is an Adjunct Professor in the Department of Business and Legal Sciences at the Polytechnic Institute of Bragança (Portugal). She teaches a variety of courses in the fields of marketing and communication. Her research focuses on Marketing in Higher Education, Consumer Behavior, Marketing Strategy, Family Business, and Sustainability Marketing.

Stelios Stylianou

Dr. Stylianou holds a bachelor’s degree in social and Political Science, from the University of Cyprus, and has also obtained a Postgraduate tittle in Sociology from the City University in London. He holds PhD in Sociology from the University of Cyprus. He has worked for RTD TALOS as the Director of Tenders Department for fifteen years being responsible not only for the submission of proposals but also for the management and coordination of Local and European Research and Development projects, targeting mainly NGO’s and small and medium-sized enterprises.

Vera Amicarelli

Vera Amicarelli is Associate Professor, Ph.D. in Commodity Science, at the Department of Economics, Management and Business Law at the University of Bari Aldo Moro, Italy. She teaches “Industrial Ecology”, “Quality Environment and Sustainability” and “Resource and Waste Management” in both bachelor’s and master’s degrees. She is a Professor Committee member in the “Economics and Management” Ph.D. course and advisor of related Ph.D. projects. Her current research interests mainly focus on circular economy measurement; natural resources and waste management; and environmental indicators (water and the carbon footprint).
