Special Issue Released

Special Issue entitled “Bioeconomy and Agriculture Towards New Advancements Thanks to Innovative Learning and Tools – Part 1”, dedicated to the CL4BIO project – Creative Learning for Boosting Bio-economy within HEIs’ Curricula, has been officially released. This Special Issue brings together high-quality academic contributions that examine how creative learning, digital tools, and innovative pedagogical approaches can advance bioeconomy and agriculture education while preparing students to meet the challenges of the 21st century.

The issue opens with an editorial that establishes the conceptual framework by emphasising the importance of building a digital trust ecosystem for innovative learning, particularly through the development of complex educational tourism products in Europe. The editorial highlights how such approaches contribute to the development of green skills and support higher education institutions in equipping students with future-oriented competences.

Together, the contributions in this Special Issue highlight the multifaceted nature of innovation in bioeconomy and agricultural education. Employing diverse methodologies—ranging from conceptual frameworks to empirical and qualitative analyses—the articles illustrate how creative learning and digital tools can address urgent global challenges. This Special Issue represents a valuable contribution to the ongoing dialogue on educational transformation and supports the objectives of the CL4BIO project and the Erasmus+ programme.
