🎓 Meet João Fonseca Bigotte, PhD – an innovative researcher and external lecturer in the CL4Bio Project!

João is an Assistant Professor of Innovation in Urbanism and Transportation at the University of Coimbra 🇵🇹. He also leads the Transport and Mobility Working Group for the Regional Spatial Planning Program of Portugal’s Centro Region.

His academic journey includes time as a visiting scholar at the University of Toronto and MIT, broadening his international perspective. His research focuses on innovation in transportation and spatial planning, with expertise in facility location, transport network integration, the acceptance of transportation innovations, and mobility-as-a-service (MaaS).
