🎓 Meet Marilena Labianca, PhD – an accomplished researcher and valued internal lecturer in the CL4Bio Project!
Marilena earned her PhD in Economic and Political Geography from the University of Bari in 2009 and later gained research and teaching experience at the University of Salento. In 2017, she qualified as an Associate Professor and is currently a Researcher at the Department of Economics, University of Foggia 🇮🇹.
Her expertise covers a wide range of fields, including Spatial Planning and Analysis, Rural Development, Governance and Territorial Impacts, GIS, Regional Analysis and Geo-Digital Models, Planning and Tourism, and Renewable Energy.
As coordinator and scientific lead of the Italian research unit in international projects, Marilena actively investigates the territorial impacts of European rural policies, strengthening the connection between research, governance, and sustainable development.
